Hi, I’m Liam and I’ve been teaching/coaching swimming since 2006, Head Coach of the Otters since 2019.
My full-time background is in the automotive industry mostly at Zenos Cars, and Lotus cars, however coaching swimming is my passion. I take great pride in seeing the development of athletes when first starting within a competitive environment, progressing all the way through to competing at high performance levels such as County and Regional level events.
I completed my teaching & coaching qualifications at a very young age and started my career as a regional squad coach at aged just 19 and Head Coach at age 24. My proudest moment was coaching swimmers to achieve a silver medal at the Regional Championships.
My coaching aim: Ensuring we create the right pathway for our swimmers and to create a culture that is safe and positive where athletes are at the centre of all activities to support future success.
