An effective swimming specific warm up is vital if you want to perform at your best in the pool. Below are 5 key areas which should be performed in order to fully prepare your body for exercise in the water. 

Swimmers should aim to complete each exercise for 1 minute. The full pre-pool routine should take no more than 30 minutes.
