Emily Rose - Coach
I love swimming and wish to share my passion with the world. I am a competitive Masters swimmer attending National and Regional events picking up the occasional medal. I first joined a club in 2011, Wycombe District Swimming Club, and with plenty of commitment and training I achieved a county time and attended the Berks and Bucks County Championships at age 16, in the same water as 15-year-old Tom Dean the later Tokyo 2020 Gold Medallist for 200m Freestyle. I then moved and joined Diss Otters in 2019, continuing my training and going to the Regional Short Course Championships in 2021 with the Otters!
I have been a qualified swimming teacher for 6 years delivering fun and beneficial lessons to any ability and age. I first took an interest in coaching when I was completing my DofE and assisted on poolside as a teenager and now I hope to continue and grow as a coach helping inspire athletes and allow them to reach their potential.
My coaching aim: To motivate and bring enjoyment into our sport of swimming.
